Curious about the name Dreamlight Design?
Amy is an artist and avid Maxfield Parrish admirer and collector, and Dreamlight is the name of one of his paintings (at left), most of which depict landscapes and other settings with a signature, ethereal glow.
When she and her family moved to the rolling hills of Northern Kentucky, she was awestruck by the beautiful entrance and play of light through the trees, the fireflies in the fields, and the overall feeling of just being in a dreamworld. Seeking a name that might do justice to the feeling this provoked, she was inspired by the name of this painting to christen their new home Dreamlight Farm.
When she decided to form a staging company in 2006, what better name to also describe the transformation one can achieve through intuitive redesign?
